I have a little testscene created in blender with a planar texture emission light. I expoerted it to see what happens in Octane Standalone, and it works just as I saw in the tutorial video ... I can load an IES light to the floattexture node, connect it to distribution of the texture emission node, and connect that to the emission port of the diffuse material ... voila, wonderful IES light in Octane Standalone.
But not so in Blender: If I use the very same file with the very same nodes and setup ... nothing happens. It just stays a normal planar flat light ... the IES file isn't used.
What am I doing wrong?
PS: Can you so mehow disable the default filter in the fileselector? As it filters out the .ie files.

Hi voon, work as expected for me.
Make sure you are using the latest OctaneServer, in older versions Distribution and Efficiency are interchanged.

Ha! I plugged it into Efficiency instead of Distribution and it worked..... guess I'm out of date :/ My download is from the download part of the user login .. It says 1.20.2 - 2.4 Beta for both server and blender. Did it change? Or do I have to download the fixed server somewhere else?
(I assume Distribution is the right port for this?)
