Is there any chance that we can facilitate system memory instead of VRAM for Octane render?

For us working architectural scene always suffer from VRAM shortage for GPU render. Is this something that future update is considering?

I am not an engineer so maybe it is technically impossible or just not feasible.. but you know what I mean.

I know that there is now plugin for revit, but people in our business knows that large projects done in revit would not likely to be handled in Octane.

Hopely if they release cards with 12gb vram or at least 8gb..which i dont think they will.

You can already buy 12gb cards from nVidia (quadro 6000 12gb), though they are not so cheap =DDD.. on the other side You can look for 6gb Titan =) 6gb is a lot of space, as usually You don't need every single detail & models could (and usualy should) be optimised.. I believe We should see bigger than 6gb GTX line cards this year, but..again it might be not enough..so in the end what matters more is Your workflow & not hardware limitations as with new hardware in time more demanding workloads will be too=)
