I've downloaded the demo but I now realize that the demo doesn't include the plug-ins.
How can we test the plug-ins? In my case, I'm interested on testing the plug-in for Softimage.

I dont think the plugins are available for the Demo version.

plugins aren't properly documented as of now and they won't be released till they are, so for now, there is two choices, either check the videos section to see how they work http://www.refractivesoftware.com/videos.html (all plugins work exactly the same and have identical ui) or, of course, buy Octane, and not only you'll have access to ALL the plugins, but to the latest release, and believe me, the actual pre-release 2.3_4 is so much better than 2.2 that is like comparing a top class mercedes and a ferrari, sure, one is nice, and classy, but heck, the other IS a ferrari
