Hello!

Is it possible to export Octane materials to C4D ? Via the LiveDB or something like that ?

Because I can't make the materials I want in C4D, but I managed to in Octane standalone.

In C4D when I'm using the mix material shader, materials are going transparent.

Here is what I what I managed to do with Octane, a mix between 4 shaders (used on the plate) :

And here is my C4D file :

So if someone can help me to get the same results in C4D, it would be super extra cool !

Thanks by advance !

hi, i have downloaded your scene but without texture is impossible to re-create the correct materials ;)
anyway your mistake is to use the textures directly in the mix slot or in any other node of an octane material, without charging the ImageTexture node first.
doing so, you could change the type of the image from normal to alpha ;)
if you use mix-materials with alpha texture in the ammount, it's not necessary to use the alpha texture in the opacity channel of the single material ;)

If you save a ocs you can load this materials or put and get from livdb. Or you can make mix1=mat1+mat2 mix2=mix1+mat3. But rc2 is better for mix material preview issue.

Or wait sdk 1.22 version, which has better node editor
