Hi

Revit crashes when I try to activate the plugin.

Has anyone else had this issue?

Thanks

There have been a couple of reports of users having issues with activation of other plugins with Windows 8.1. Which OS are you on pls? Also, which Cuda drivers are you running pls?

After the crash - is the plugin activated when you next run Revit?

Hi Paul

My windows version should be listed in my signature.

Where do I see my version of the cuda driver?
I have added a screenshot - does that tell anything?

The plugin is not activated when I restart Revit.

Thanks.

Hi

You are running Nvidia drivers version 331 - which there have been many problems reported with (and I've posted in these forums recommending against using it). Pls try the previous Nvidia drivers.

I'm seeing the same thing with Revit 2013 - sent PM with the journal file.

Crashes after selecting the view and before the Octane window opens.

Hi Tim

Would it be possible to get some info from you pls as per the requirements listed in http://render.otoy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=61&t=37775 (ie. plugin version, Revit version, NVidia driver version etc).

Also, does Octane Standalone (1.32) work for you?
Does it crash on every scene, or just certain scenes?
If you set the kernel to Direct Lighting, does it crash?
What was the version version that worked for you?

I had a look through the log file you sent me, me it looks like the crash is happening prior to the plugin trying to load any of the geometry.
