is there a way to export my maya file into octaneRender both

is there a way to export my maya file into octaneRender both are demo versions

The demo version of the standalone can load .obj files just like the full version.
If the maya demo can save as these, that should work.
But what is better is to install the demo version of the maya fully integrated octane plugin.
