Hi. I am having trouble opening my octane render viewport in poser pro 2014. I am using your demo plugin for poser and I am just testing it from a new render in poser (just the default scene). I have the NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M card on windows 8 (the stand alone octane program opens fine). When I click the "open viewport" button, the screen pops up (but it's black) and it says "warning: low video card memory. Memory available: 0MB. I've rebooted the laptop, so it's not an issue of low resources. Do you have any suggestions for me?
Hi,
Does the standalone render a basic material ok?
Right click on the node graph editor and select add node -> materials -> diffuse.
If it renders ok, go to file-> preferences -> CUDA Devices and take a look at the "Total Usable device memory".
Make sure there is plenty free (windows and other software can consume this leaving less for octane).
I'm not sure what the default Poser scene consists of but if it's more than just a cube, then cut the scene back to something extremely trivial and see if that works (it would confirm that you are running out of VRAM)
Thanks
Chris.

Are you rendering the default "Andy" scene? How much VRAM does your 650M card have pls? What Nvidia drivers are you using?Hi. I am having trouble opening my octane render viewport in poser pro 2014.
