Got octane on monday and already had to stress it with a motel room.

Panorama: http://www.animaokio.com/in/poeme
Original image is 2000x1000 (should be bigger, but I wanted it done this morning). Render time was about 7 hours for 15000 samples. Very little post in Lightroom but aggressive noise reduction.
BTW, right click inside the panorama and choose fish eye for a better projection considering the wide FOV the low-res asks.

I would often struggle to light a scene like this, but got it up over night.

Although there is much room for improvement as expected for I'm new to octane (and I have a wimpy GTX560ti), I have to say kudos to Otoy. I wouldn't be able to tune this kind of scene in a day if I was using the other renderers in Maya I am much more experienced (including a couple crashy GPU path tracers).

Although the deliverable render time increased, the setup was much faster. In addition to the amazing IPR, loved the swatches and LDB. I'm so anxious for the render farm now.
