Hi eyeonestudio,

nice to hear you are fine with your GTX 780 ti!
What mobo is your xeon system on?

I got a evga GTX 780 ti superclocked last week, but it isn`t recognized by my motherboard (P8Z68 deluxe rev. 1.0)... installed a complete new win 7 sp1 ultimate 64bit system and the same last NVIDIA drivers, but it just shows up as standard vga card with yellow triangle mark in the device manager.
I also have a gtx 580 in the first PCIe slot, the doublesized GTX780 ti only fits in the second slot because of some watercooling elements on the board.

My board only has PCIe 2.0, but I think the GTX780 ti should be down compatible and also run on "older" boards.

Where did you enable this "Nvidia Force-Enable-Gen3 Applied" option?

Thanx,
ChrisVis

I don't use Modo... Sorry that..

780ti run with PCI-e 2.0 x16 base before Nvidia-Force-Gen3
If you want PCI-e 3.0 x16 Mode, download Nvidia Utility (Link below)
And Run With Command window.
That's It...

Hi eyeonestudio,

thank you for the link above.

I didn`t ask for modo... I just wanted to know, what mobo (=motherboard) you are using for your xeon system. :)

thanx,
ChrisVis
