This image is part of a larger project -- I used the Blender plugin for this particular render.
The scene setup was inspired by a shot of the Mercedes-Benz W196 -- which is a similar car to this in some respects.

Awesome concept car. Nice design on the drive system, it appears rocket propulsion with the wheels having very little drive mechanism, since only steering appears to be in place and magnetic or electrical drive for low power movement.
