think it's not camera, but rather a scale issue =) check carefuly the scale of Your object when exporting/importing =)

the answers is raypsilon
for large scale projects you can set it to 0.001, 2000m x 2000m
for close up use 0.0001, 20m x 20m
remember that you can't animate the camera from a large cityscape view to a tiny object close up because you can't keframe the raypsilon value.
