Demo Octane render plugin for DAZ Studio?

Hi all,

Are there plans to release a Demo Octane render plugin for DAZ Studio? Being a hobbyist, I am seriously considering buying the standalone + plugin but I do have a stiff budget which includes purchasing a beefier video card. I have many projects built out and would like to compare it against the free Blender cycles renderer (which I am using now using out of DAZ via a script I made). The standalone demo is alright but I really would like to test the animation capabilities with the plugin.

Please make it happen! :)

hi, the DAZ plugin is still in open beta (as of this writing) and it is still being primed for features as well as being rid of bugs. Further along this process is the generation of a demo version. You might want to hold off purchasing a license for this until a demo version is available. It is coming but may take a few weeks.
