Hey everyone.

So I did this in 18 hours from scratch(the guy that wanted this was in a hurry). I downloaded some of the models and modeled some of them. I'm using two Gtx 690's so render time is decent still not incredible though (20 minutes per image). 397,000 polys so the scene isn't big at all. I used Hdr lighting and no other lights in the scene apart from some shapes in the lamps that are emitting very little light. Image is quite noisy for 16,000 samples... so if anyone has any suggestions about that I would appreciate it :)

I also did some post processing in Photoshop for color balance and some contrast.

Let me know what you guys think!

Not a huge fan of the washed out look but pretty good modelling/rendering for a short time. Good composition as well.

I get what you mean about the washed out feel. I Used a lot of bloom and glare to get that effect. Also the colors are very monochrome but the point was that the client could really feel how the space was used in this area of the house. I hope I'm making sense when I say this.

Now on the other hand I would love to know what you would think I could do to get rid of that washed out feeling. When I take off the bloom and glare or even lower it too much I get a much less realistic feel to the images...

I mean I could add color but that was not an option for this client. He wanted something rather monochrome and minimal.
