Hi everybody, first of all i want to thank you in advance for trying to help me.

So i'm trying to create a realistic possible brushed wedding bands.

here is a picture of it.

Can anyone help me with this? I did create the material, and the lighting,..i do get good results, but i can not get results like above. Is it possible to get that realistic results with octane?

You can try using a really high res bump map for the "scratches" of the brushed metal.

If you look et it physically those brushes are tiny scratches alongside the ring.
So if you use a map that produces this tiny bump pattern over the surface it should look right.
