Hey folks I thought I would post some of my 'testing of 2.3' experiments. :shock:
I'm not so good at rendering but I do like Octane technology.
Yeah I know the wood unwrap isnt so hot and the metal bump is too much ;)
I pulled down Octane live mats for the metal and tweaked them a little.
Feel free to comment on my composition skills or lack of them etc. :roll:
I know there really should be some other interest in the pics like a rose or a name plate or something to bring some life to it. I should try harder - I heard that in school too :oops:
You do better if you pay attn to honest criticism and suggestions I guess.
Btw these may be a little dark on your LCD as they were rendered at night and detail was more obvious. Full pics below are 900x600

makes me think of the the piston cup from the movie cars :)
