Hello all and greetings from cold & wintry Finland :)

Firstly I have to express my sheer amazement for Octane Render. Already the alpha versions dropped my jaw by showing such speed, quality and usability. Great job developers!

One question, is there a way to map images with transparency/alpha maps on a transparent object in such way that only the transparent part of the image shows trough. I have tried to play with different settings to no avail. As you can see only the totally black part (text) of the mapped image cannot be seen trough.

Hi,

Unfortunately not yet.
It's high on my list and it will likely be implemented in the next demo...
