Hi guys,

We grabbed a new GFX card to see what performance gains were to be made :)

System spec:
Intel i7-3970X 3.5 running @ 4.1Ghz
32GB memory

Card 1 = Quadro K4000 3GB
Card 2 = GeForce GTX Titan 6GB

Nvidia GeForce 314.22 drivers
(will grab v320.49 soon)

Scene1 - 129k triangles:

Quadro K4000 -
MSample/Sec = 3.95
Render ETA = 34min 24sec

Titan -
MSample/Sec = 16.38
Render ETA = 7min 30sec

Titan + K4000 -
MSample/Sec = 16.38
Render ETA = 7min 30sec

Ticking both GPUs for rendering seems to have no effect? The GPU load on the K4000 remains 0% while the Titan takes 99%. Is there a trick to this?

So.... we worked this one out - gotta hit the "Apply" button whenever you fiddle with the tick boxes on the CUDA panel :D

All good now, both GPUs getting load and the combined MSamples/Sec = 18.02

You can also turn OFF render priority to get a little more speed. So use the Quadro as your display adapter and have render priority ENABLED, and have Titan with render priority DISABLED. Remember to hit Apply after changing you render priority too.
