Nice scene. Good lighting.

I wouldn't put a LCD or plasma screen close to a fireplace, though !

Micro dust of carbon is very bad for screens and electronics, as well as heat for LCD.
French Blender user - CPU : intel Quad QX9650 at 3GHz - 8GB of RAM - Windows 7 Pro 64 bits. Display GPU : GeForce GTX 480 (2 Samsung 2443BW-1920x1600 monitors). External GPUs : two EVGA GTX 580 3GB in a Cubix GPU-Xpander Pro 2. NVidia Driver : 368.22.

Good job man! Very nice space, i like the lighting those windows give.

You can try chamfering the sharp edges of the objects like the book shelves, the walls, etc ... to get better highlights.
I feel like the sofa needs some type of leather bump. :D it'll look much better.

Also the mapping from the wooden structure could be better, the books are perfect tough ;)

keep it up.
