Are you using any of those gadgets to calibrate monitors, and what seems to be the best choice, I got myself a spyder 4 elite device, and not sure how to make it work 100%, three screens on my desktop setup show off different colours still after calibrating them all together (that's because those are different brands, I know but anyway) .. still looks much better after calibration than the default settings..
How about some experienced monitor calibration tips right here..
What's the proper technique, do we need some referencing pictures in order to verify the result, and what to pay attention to. It's a good idea, since the end result of a rendering can very well be quite influenced by the calibration of the monitor.. your monitor has high contrast or something, to you it looks great, to other users looks too dark or light, a common problem..
monitor colour calibration?
