Hi,
I'm going to buy the package with the c4d plugin. Just one question: Is it possible to transfer the work done in C4D using the plugin to the standalone version, thus exporting a ocs file ready to render or make final editings? Since the Material DB cannot be accessed from the plugin, there should be a way to finalize the work in the standalone version with access to LiveDB. Or is there another way to access material presets when working with the plugin? Thank you.

Hi there mad, thanks for dropping by. actually, if you're using the demo, one of the limitations there is not being able to access the livedb. In the licensed builds of the c4d plugin, the liveDB is very much accessible.
As for saving the .ocs file from the plugin to load in the standalone (and vice versa), the developers are still busy with this. Be aware that the plugin is an open beta as of now. You might already see that there is a 'save ocs' facility in the c4d plugin, it is functional but still a work in progress. A better exchange is still on the way.
