Importing .Obj Sketchup to Octane 1.20 version

I just Installing the 1.20 Standalone version , when I opened a 1.10 saved file there are Triangles all over the geometry, I check all the settings in both version and are the same, also I tried 64 and 32 bits version....the same...try exporting again the geometry from sketchup .....the same...some help please

Hi Riverodoimi,

Try double checking the ray-epsilon value in the kernel settings.
Also double check the scale of your model.
These problems usually occur when geometry is extremely large or small, or very far from the origin (0,0,0).

Hi FooZe, thank for your reply, I just checked the rayepsilon value and in both version are the same,also I checked the scale and units and are the same as I loaded in the 1.10 version.

please if you have sketchup pro 8 try to export as and .Obj file an load it with materials to Octane Render 1.20, to compare results.

Hi,

Sorry i don't have Sketchup Pro 8 available. Can you please post a simple .obj from sketchup that does this? I will check 1.10 vs 1.20 with it and see if i can reproduce your problem.

I'm trying to attached the sketchup .obj sample thrue this way an it says that attachments of .obj are not allowded. maybe you could give me an e-mail .
