Hi.
I've been messing around with the C4D plugin. In the 20 minute tutorial video on the release page, he does a live update of the geometry and shows how it can be used to preview animations. (I'm not talking about the preview in the settings, but the actual option to update the geometry in the viewport) Is this possible to test in the demo version of the plugin? I'm using a 64-bit version of C4D R14.
This really does look great, but I'm just curious as to if this is possible in the demo or not... or maybe it just doesn't work for me. I have a simple scene with a cone shape moving around as a test.

Hi,
Make sure you turn on "update geometries" in the update menu of the Live Viewer window.
Then add an "Octane ObjectTag" tag to the object. Make sure the update mesh in the tag is ticked, and the Mesh no is something other than zero.
Thanks
Chris.

Ah thanks. I didn't realize there was a tag. I'll give that a try.
Since release of demo, some functions has changed. Also Geometry update method. In demo, geometry feeding is working limited
