Hi guys,
I have just installed Octane Demo version and here is a question.
When I try to import .obj file from SketchUp through node "mesh" it imports everything, but it groups different elements of the model strangely.
For example I have window, floor, lift and ceiling. After import in node editor I have inputs only for window + floor, lift + ceiling.
In SketchUp model split in by individual layers
Is it possible to have input for all elements of the scene?
Cheers
.obj import from SketchUp

Hi,
Octane works on a material basis, rather than an object basis.
The pins exposed on the mesh in octane will be the different materails.
Apply different materials to the window, floor, lift and ceiling in sketchup and they should all be available on the mesh in octane.
Hope that helps
Thanks
Chris.
