Lightwave Octane Material library

I was wondering if the LW Octane guys here were up for a bit of sharing of materials. We could just post them here or I'm up for suggestions on what else to do. It'll be a good stop gap till we get LiveDB (if we ever do)

I don't have much yet, but will post what I have later this evening.

Any thoughts?

For any of these that require a map, pick your own.

What is in the rar is my surface presets; if you aren't using a defined preset path, you are missing out.

Put this folder in your present Presets>Surface Editor>Surface Preset> folder.

Will have a look a this. What are the files in there that are not the .pst files?

Those are psts. If they aren't renamed, their names are quite random looking.
In Lw, they should show up.

Cool. I only have a couple at the moment. (that I've sorted into PSTs). Here goes.

The gold one is a version of the one loaded into LiveDB a few weeks ago.
