Problem with NGE and certain objects

First of all I have to congratulate all who have worked on such a great plug-in. On the whole I have it working really well - I'm using latest Daz and Octane Plug-In.

However, one problem I seem to be having is that certain objects in the Octane materials tab don't appear to be linked to their material and I cannot work out how to get them to open in the NGE.

I have a large scene and almost all objects are fine but it seems to be more of a problem when I load in a new prop or create a Daz primative. It shows in the Materials Tab in the Octane Panel but I cannot seem to select it as an object 'linked' to a material. The objects that can open in the NGE are like folders: I click on the object and the material below is highlighted and I can open the nodes. But some of my new objects just don't seem to do this. Instead the Object is highlighted or I can click below to highlight the Material. It is almost as if the plug-in is treating some Objects as Materials.

I try right-clicking and 'creating as new' or 'creating as blank' but nothing happens. I just don't seem to be able to work out why this is happening so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again on a fantastic plug-in!

as for the problem (annoying, i know): this became violent with the latest update, and should be gone again with the next one; wanted to have it public around today already, but as always during testing something i haven't touched for a while caused new problems, so it'll need a day more (or two)...
The obvious is that which is never seen until someone expresses it simply

Thanks for your reply! Good to know that you are aware of problem. I'm sure you will sort it as you have done such an incredibly good job on the plug-in so far!

As a work around I have been loading objects or creating primatives with a new scene and find that usually Octane has the objects linked to their materials with a fresh start. I then assign textures with Octane and save the new small scene as a prop to load into orignal larger scene (or sometimes works better saved as a scene and merged into original) and then 9 times out of 10 Octane has the materials linked to their objects when I bring them into the original scene that way.
