Hello
When I put a scene in render queue in pathtracing, and the same scene with an other name but this time in Object ID, when the job go from the first to the second, the render kernel is not updated.

I had the same problem! First render in the queue would work fine but all others would fail (looked like it was defaulting back to DirectLighting 128 samples). Had no idea why then discovered this new tab (in Beta 050 and onwards)

Here's the cure:

In the Render Settings you need to set the "Overwrite" parameters to the Kernel & number of passes you need (see screenshot). Then save the file and finally add it to the Render Queue. Then it will render fine on the settings you set up in this dialogue once you start the queue.

Hello
I did some test but I still have a problem. When in the Octane render Render setting menu I check Overwrite enable/Kernel Info Kernel, but there I have no choice to select witch Info Kernel I want.

Have an Idea?

Thanks
