Hi,

well, i use octane 1.13 for Max 2013.

Forest Pack Pro 4 applies, but how to convert materials? There is a tab at the end of modifier tad of FOREST, but when i try to optimise i can choose render types.

Unknow
scanline
vray
etc...

Where is Octane Render??

Thanks in advance.

in the control panel just use convert material, i mean, press f10, open control panel octane for max, exist an flange called convert material, just click and you need select the type material to convert into the scene and click down the flange convert, and that's all
hope this tip can help you

Thanks for your replay.

I know for material coverter in render tab (f10) but that is not working for forest pack pro 4. I mean, materials are converted but still white foliage!

Maybe is problem in octane for max 1.13 as its beta release ?

you can't convert Forest 4 material library to Octane.
you have to do it manually because dynamically Forest Pack Pro reloads its geometries from the disk.
You have to unfreeze the layer where FP put the hidden geometries, convert them to Octane, then reuse them.
