Hello,
I opened a file with version 1.16 of Octane, I worked on, saved the changes. Until then, nothing serious, except wanting to open that file with 1.10 ... crash, Octane stops working ... Can not reopen a stage of 1.10 if you save the file to version 1.16 ... is coment say, very very very annoying ....
Thank you in advance for fixing this bug
Cedric

I am not sure that this is a bug. imho, it is more important to be able to open old files with recent versions than the opposite. Why opening recent files with old versions and loosing the benefit of all new features ?

Until now, the 1.10 was the stable versions, so you could stay with it or experiment with RC releases, but it sounds normal that a former version with less and different functionnalities can't open a file from a very recent release.

It is like trying to open a blender file saved with the 2.67 with the 2.49b...
