Just messing around. first serious attempt at texturing with images in Octane,
and must say it is flipping awesome.
700 samples in 10 minutes @ 3840x2400. about 11 MgS/sec

No post production (save clone stamping out a redundant texture feature ;) )
Not modeled by me.

awesome job. that wood looks sweet. Im not totally familiar with the AK but is the grip really that boxy like a flat 2x4? if so that's cool but right now it looks like it would be difficult to wrap a hand around.

Yeah the grip looks a little weird, but since this was not my model i guess I didn't really pay much attention to it ;)
