Dude, standalone and official plugins are independent, you only need standalone´s license file to run your daz plugin, so matching versions are pointless.
i7 2600, 16 GB RAM, 2x Evga 670 SC 4gb, dual boot win7/osxML, 2 SSDs, 3 HDs.

thanks badmilk69 - this is correct; the plugins have their own version of octane included and work completely independent from the standalone apart from entering the standalone license (if needed)...
The obvious is that which is never seen until someone expresses it simply

And that explains how the plug-in finds Octane ... I was wondering :)
