Hi
I get a failure while rendering an image with a huge hdr file (90Mo). I know I could use a lower sized file, but I was wondering what's the limit with the plugin
With the standalone it renders without any trouble (gtx580 1.5Go)
Cheers
Hdr size limit ?

I'm not sure if there is a limit but I have rendered scenes with the Maya plugin with HDRI's in excess of 100 Mb with no problem.
It appears from your signature that you only have one card, if this is also used as your display card then maybe the problem is when rendering in Maya the display of your scene in the viewports also uses VRAM and so you are left with less for your scene compared to when you render in the standalone, and your scene as a whole is running out of VRAM.
Just a thought.

Sorry, too little info to reproduce it...pid18000 wrote:Hi

@TBFX : Thanks for your comment, it might be the reason
@JimStar : didn t have much more to provide.May be a more detailled message could help in case of a memory limit reached (I just had a render failure notice without further info in the script editor, nothing in the output window). That s just a suggestion
I've tried again this evening and it went ok
Thanks for your hard work on the plugin!
