A modeling and texturing exercise for fun
Not sure what this control panel went to or what it says just thought it looked cool:)

I used Direct light for these and each took less than a minute on my 680. And had fun using the spherical distortion feature!

Maybe some one has an idea what this control panel was used for?

Very realistic. Great images. I don't read russian, but as a former electronician, I would say that it could be a videosurveillance monitoring panel. Buttons for area selection, buttons for camera selection. Two cursors for vertical and horizontal pan of the camera turrel, two buttons for zooming, sound volume button, and other few buttons, maybe for projectors or external camera enclosure defrost/heaters... just an idea...

amazing work! did you resuse that picture as a texture, it looks rather low-res for the results you got, and yet it looks incredibly similar... Tell me you used a higher res version of that same picture? or is it also a render and you got the reference from somewhere else?

This is a great render! Yes, how did you get such a high res look out of that lower res image?
