I hope I can explain my problem clearly. I want to increase the ''shiny'' of the skin of my V4. She is using a ''normal'' skin, the most standard, if that makes sense. I tried increasing the specular in the material tab in Poser. I tried changing the specular and roughness in the material tab in the plug-in. I don't know what else I can do. Perhaps someone can help me. Thank you in advance

What settings did you try for the roughness node?
Windows 8 64bit, Intel Xeon 3.4 GHz x2, 10GB RAM, GTX 660 Ti 2GB, Poser Pro 2012 SR 3.1
I found that changing skin from Glossy to specular give increases the effect, decreasing the roughnes and increasing the specular values will make your character look shiney like oil.

Roughness decreases or widens the specularity with higher numbers. Try Witpapiers settings. You could even go lower like 0.05 or even lower. If the there is a specular image map controlling the specularity you might try replacing it with a floattexture node. Also test the filmwidth setting. if it's at 1 try a little lower setting.mitzzy50 wrote:The maximum it allows in the plugin. 1.0 I think?

As everyone else said - get more glossiness/shininess by reducing the roughness.
