Hi, loving the wireframe mode recently added to octane, but I wish I could isolate certain objects to receive the wire only - for example buildings receive wireframes but 3d people in the same scene don't.
Rather than making this a whole new feature however, perhaps the matte material could take this request into account. Currently there is no way of matteing in wireframe mode and therefore I need to render a number of passes to get the result I currently want.

Also it would be great if the wireframe mode produced just wires with no grey background

Lattice shows edges only per default, but you can also switch them on...

So the lattice modifier can be applied as a kind of material which then renders out in octane? Or is this a blend of an octane render and raw 3ds max screen preview?

Lattice is a geometric modifier that builds a wire out of edges.
In the last picture there were two teapots of the same size, one with a specular material, smoothing off
and the other with a lattice modifier and a black material...
