Hi, loving the wireframe mode recently added to octane, but I wish I could isolate certain objects to receive the wire only - for example buildings receive wireframes but 3d people in the same scene don't.
Rather than making this a whole new feature however, perhaps the matte material could take this request into account. Currently there is no way of matteing in wireframe mode and therefore I need to render a number of passes to get the result I currently want.
Feature request: Wireframe options

Also it would be great if the wireframe mode produced just wires with no grey background
any idea how to have edges only (not all tris) ?

So the lattice modifier can be applied as a kind of material which then renders out in octane? Or is this a blend of an octane render and raw 3ds max screen preview?gueoct wrote:Sorry! my fault, i was somewhere else...
BUT, this is what i tried: 2 teapots, one of them black with a Lattice Modifier applied...
Lattice is a geometric modifier that builds a wire out of edges.
In the last picture there were two teapots of the same size, one with a specular material, smoothing off
and the other with a lattice modifier and a black material...
