You used a book scatter script for it? Like the one from model+model?
I also wonder where people get those nice pictures in the frames from all the time. I neeer find any in a good enough resolution.

This is superb. I would be interested to know how you have done the books. They obvioulsy look modeled, so then how are they textured. there are too many for them to have their own texture. Superb. Did I say that already?

I would guess that the books are just jpegs. They certainly repeat. Mind you the mapping is a bit dodgy on a few of them so I am not too sure.

Some tech info:
I used 3 jpg pictures and added them to flat surface, and next I pulled a few of them. I'm sketchup user and from what I know, there is no book scatter for Sketchup.
mbetke - resolution of posters in frames are 550x800px i found them in google graphics ( they come from Polish poster museum, very interesting museum by the way, one of the largest collections of great art posters in the world
). And that's it. Simple but a little bit labor-intesive.
