Hi,

anyone got an idear how to solve this?

As soon as I start C4d I'll get this error message.
This problem occurs suddenly since today! Last days all was fine.

After clicking on "OK" C4D crashes as well.
Every time when starting C4D!

Already putted the octane-folder outside , restart, back again in plugins etc.
Card - Driver everything else is working fine. ???

thanks

Oh and I'm on R14 GTX 580 Win 7 64 and Octane-Plug latest version!
(Running as admin didn't solve the problem!)

Seams, that I cannot use the plugin anymore!
(Also removed oct.dat-files and reregistered the plugin withou success)

regards

Hi,

I solved it! For all, having similar problems.
Even a fresh install of the plugin did not work in my case, because:

I placed the "octane settings"-panel as "Tap" inside my C4D Layout.
With Octane-plugin "outside" the plugin-folder I could start C4D to change my User-Layout
and after that, (and putting Octane-Folder back to plugins of course)
Octane could find again my GTX 580.

Should not behavor like this, I think, but ...

thanks

Yep. Verified the same solution here. If the plugin is included in the startup layout c4d crashes at startup. Otherwise ok!
