I like the character... Make me think of Droopy.
Eyes might have more expresion though.. add more eyebrowes making expression might do the job
And one foot for rotation for less symmetry, one hip lower... Standing cool like Tony Manero would (John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever)
I think for defens he rolls up to a ball and camouflage his (or her or it
?) self to an orange with warts
