As I use a lot of geometry and textures for my renders, and I was thinking about how Octane, hardware and cuda could deal with this a bit better.
Some of my scenes are too big to fit on the GFX memory and too many textures for cuda to handle. So I was thinking of 2 things which in theory would work, but of course if it can't just say so.
1. Saving the camera position for a scene so you can reload the camera position for the next scene you are using. That way I can make layers of pictures and merge them the way I want in photoshop. But of course to do this the camera has to be in the same postion every time you load a new scene and so should the OBJ file. Could this be done?
2. Instead of going through resizing all the used textures to fit in the GFX memory, it would be great if Octane had a resizing option when loading textures into the memory. Maybe a sliding control from 0-80% or something like that. Would that be possible?
Requests: Saving camera position, texture resizing
