Hi,

2.3 will allow you to fully configure what mouse buttons, wheel, shift, ctrl, alt and CMD/WIN modifier keys etc...
I'd like to include default presets for various apps too.

Can people who use a specific package please make a post here with the settings for the application in question ? (eg, maya, max, blender, c4d, etc...)
Then i can add these as presets.

Included is a screenshot of the new configuration options for controls, and this one is configured in the way octane currently behaves (eg 2.2 and earlier)

The options for mouse buttons are: LMB, MMB, RMB, WHEEL, WHEEL & MMB
The options for modifier keys are: NONE, SHIFT, CTRL, ALT, CMD/WIN (Don't use WIN on windows as it's not supposed to be used directly by apps)

The deadline is saturday evening CET (central european time), so i can add them as presets.

Thanks,
Radiance

for Maya:
to navigate you always have to hold ALT key down. (also it would be nice if ALT key is down than the material picker or focus picker will be disabled (after ALT is up it will be activated again if it was) even if they are active to not change anything by mistake)
Pan: MMB+ Alt
Zoom: RMB + Alt & Wheel Scroll
Rotate: LMB + Alt

I am not shore what camera multiplier does (i guess it changes focal lengh) if so than wheel scroll can change focal lench.
When changing focal depth camera needs to stay in the same spot... only the wideness of the view must change.

Although I have not seen the space-key in your list...here comes Houdini

Space + LMB = Rotate
Space + MMB = Pan
Space + RMB = Zoom

Wheel = Zoom

Hey,

Thanks but i can't use space key for now, it's a restriction that requires laborious workarounds we don't have time for right now.
i'll leave the houdini preset out and you can configure yours manually using a different key than space...
