apply a video o pictures sequence as texture map ??

Is it possible apply a video (.mov) o pictures sequence (.jpg) as texture map o alpha map??
please this feature is very important for me

Reasonably sure this cannot be done with Octane Standalone. Most of the plugins won't provide it either, although maybe the Lightwave or C4D plugins do it?

i believe load a sequence of jpg is not complicate for a programmer ......
i have buy octane for a project but now ...

You are right - it's not that complicated, however there are many more important features that people are asking for, so time gets spent implementing those first.

octane load jpg but is the plugin to comunicate to octane for change the file jpg any frame (if is numerated 01,02,03 etc) ...

Not sure why you bothered asking if it can be done if when you found it it couldn't you call it a joke. Some people just expect way too much of software and they can't understand why the software can't do what is a very very niche requirement.

By the way can Octane solve world poverty? WHAT! Oh that's a joke.

Poser does not natively support image sequences, so it really is substantially more difficult build this functionality into the Poser plugin than it would be for some of the other plugins where the host app does support image sequences.

If you can work out how to load a new image into a Poser material image node each animation frame, it will be a 5min job for me to modify the Octane Poser plugin to import that new image filename with each animation frame change.

if you use the under "texture 2D movie" node
you can load jpeg sequence .. poser dont show this as preview
but if you try to move on timeline, you see refresh image preview on texture 2d movie
and poser can render it

the problem is this node show only first frame
so maybe is need a new node for refresh name file into the node
so octane will see the new jpeg picture frame by frame

Could you pls supply a screenshot of the "texture 2D movie" node - I'm unable to find it on my version of Poser.
