Hey everyone,
Just received a private message from Alexis Flamand from Zbrush France community
I will try to do the english traduction the best I can

Here's the French version
Salut Sam,

Alexis

Hello Sam,

if the Octane guys are interessted by an article for 3DVF, they just need to send a NFR license, that mean a not-commercial license but not limited in time or in functions. So with this I will be able to test Octane without being limited by truncated functions and the time limit of a demo.
I need to say that im not paid by 3DVF for writing articles, I do them for free to share with people the softwares I love.
I need to say at last that I already made many articles for 3DVF, Maya 2009 is the last one.

Can you forward this message to Refractive Software to see if they are interested ? Im afraid that if I contact them myself, my message will not be readed.

Alexis
3DVF is a well known website in french, its like CGSociety but in french (36'045 members)
I asked Alexis Flamand email by using PM but he's probably sleeping right now
I also asked for links to all the articles he wrote for 3DVF
Once I get his email ill send it to you Radiance ;)

I also said that he should wait the Octane beta to make an article...
We will see, it would be good to have an article in 3DVF, tons of readers

Hi everyone !

Pilou is too kind with me  I'm just like all of you : a 3D enthusiast !
It is right I regularly write reviews for 3DVF, here are a few of them :

- Maya 2009 : http://www.3dvf.com/dossier-463-1-prese ... -2009.html

- Max 2009 : http://www.3dvf.com/modules/publish/_2077_1.html

- Vue 6 : http://www.3dvf.com/modules/publish/_1832_1.html

And one review example especially for Sam and Pilou : ;)

- MOI 1.0 : http://www.3dvf.com/modules/publish/Log ... 950_1.html

I tested the demo of Octane, and I must admit it is very promising. I just contacted the boss of 3DVF to propose him this review, if you are still interested. So don't hesitate to contact me (edit: removed email to prevent spam exposure)

Thank you Sam !
I'm very happy you liked what I did.
In fact, I write reviews about softwares I like to let french people learn about them or discover them.
If I can do that for Octane, it will be a pleasure.

I thank Pilou because he posted a message about Octane on our forum, that' how I discovered Octane.

Want to promote a soft ? Get Pilou on your side.

And the Eco robot is very, very impressive ! :o I talked about it on zb.fr :D
