Hello,
It is never easy to present his work (in progress) to the judgment of the others, but it helps to progress. So, do not hesitate to criticize.
The scene was done with Archicad, Cinema 4D and of course Octane Render.
Lighting is provided by the daylight. Then I played with the ISO settings, I'm 400.
The first image uses diffuse directlightning setting.
The second PMC setting.
Here! your advice and criticism are welcome.
First interior rendering with octane

both are good, maybe the DL is better here, more depth

I much prefer the PMC version, DL is always too dark for areas away from direct lighting - hence the inside of the kitchen looks much darker than it would it real life.

hello,
thank you for your answers.
Your two opposing views reflect exactly my difficulty in choosing the best solution for realistic lighting. I have attached an overview of the 3D model, to show you the three openings that allow light to enter the room.
I agree with wastzzz, there's more depth with the lighting in direct sunlight.
But the whole is really dark. Maybe I should increase the ISO?
thank you for your answers.

What is the "power" of the daylight environment???
Do you screen setting??
Iso setting?? 100???
I have not changed the settings of "power" of the daylight environment. It's 1. And I increased the ISO to 500 and not 400 as I wrote in my first message.john_petrucci wrote: Very good image!

I do not work AO mode, but diffuse. I find the AO too dark.PAQUITO wrote:Working in AO mode, you can fake that darker areas to make them look more luminous. Just decrease the AO distance until you dont see dark shadows. Fine tune the AO distance is always a good idea.
But I will try to follow your advice and see the result.
