Hi to everyone,
does anyone knows how to create frosted glass in octane?
I have tried adding a bump map for regular glass but this takes a lot of time to get something rendered.

Hi,

You will have to wait until we have a frosted glass material option.
The bump map solution is very hackish and is not efficient at all.

It won't be long before we have roughness on the specular material, it's on our high-priority list.

Its good to hear that its on the way.
And maybe there should be a special section for different material in the forum?

Meanwhile, you could use instead of a frosted glass a laminated one with a PVB film, in this thread http://www.refractivesoftware.com/forum ... f=9&t=2519 there is some examples including scenes.
