Hi,

What to expect about this?:

I have a Nvidia GTX 465 and this Card is working very well with Octane, I guess like every other 4x.
But now there is a Problem with the normal 4x Nvidia Driver, you can read in many other Forums about,
Blender, Maya, 3dsMax and so on.
The Performance of handling polygons in the 3d Viewport is extremly disapponting, I had a Nv 8600GT before and the Difference
to Gtx 465 is not really existing - but it should!
In Blender I'm not able to handle 1Mio Polygons without Delay - !! so, Octane is a Renderer, but I have also to bulit
up my Scene - this Video Card needs a working driver or chuck it away!

What to do?

most people who do serious modeling use a quadro for display as they have drivers that are faster for non-gaming DCC applications.
a cheap quadro should do the trick as a primary card, and use the GTX400 as power for octane.

Okay,

so please tell me - if I want to have only 1 Card in my System - which Quadros are
- for Octane Purposes ! - , approximately comparable to the GTX 4x Series?

Not sure, but i think it will be a very expensive card.
I'd do the duo config. cheap power for octane in the GTX400 and compatible DCC power for your 3d apps with a quadro.
