Collada animation support?

I'm interested in using Octane to bring in basic product animation for rendering, like an assembly animation of a cell phone. Will the Collada implementation in Octane support animation data? How about skinning data(character animation)?

we're focussing on renderman RIB first, for export/import of animations.
collada is coming later, and we plan to implement simple geometry, exported per frame.

animation is the job of the 3d host app,
it does'nt make much sense to have those capabilities in octane.
octane just renders a frame from a given rib/obj/collada file,
and if you batch the export/import/render, you get an animation :)
