first render with gtx690, time 2 minutes 49 seconds, size 1499 x 1099 px, 3ds max 2013 and octane for max, directlight, specular 5, glossines 2, AO 3, diffuse 2, maxsamples 1000, oly octane camera. none gamma 2.2 or post production

Why not use PMC for more realistic rendering?

I see so many people using DL these days - I just don't get it, why does anyone need the extra speed of DL for still images??
