Hey great work with those liquids! Congrats!.
Would you mind explaining a bit how you handle with IORs of diferent liquids? Did you model the liquid surface touching the inner surface of the glass? Thank you in advance for the info.

MoBo: Gigabyte X58A-UD3R // CPU: i7-930 // RAM: Kingston 12gb DDR3 // Display GPU: GTX 480 1,5gb + Rendering only GPU: Gigabyte GTX 670 4gb.
Thanks JulioCayetano.
Actually the liquid models aren't mine - they are free models downloaded from here:
http://www.modelplusmodel.com/accessori ... arafe.html
If you will download them you could check how they are modeled (inner surface etc.),...
IORs - materials taken from the Octane Live Database : Water, OrangeJuice, Rum and of cource Beer! I have simply assigned them
to the materials assigned to liquid.
That's the secret.
Hope it will help.
Thanks

Thanks cadvis for answering. In fact I've used free and paid stuff from that web site, great models they have. I'll check for new models and have a closer look at liquid-glass interface.
Cheers

You are very welcome JulioCayetano. And yes indeed, they have great models up there.
I was thinking about putting the octane scene for sell on turbosquid (for people who wants to check the settings..), but I don't think that there will be some interest
in that so I've resigned.
All the best.
