Does anybody knows how to use matte?

Hi iljubicic,

Set the diffuse color to black (normally), then tick the matte box.
Like this:

Make sure you are using daylight, or an HDRI with importance sampling on for the environment. And in most cases you will want to tick "alphachannel" in the kernel settings.

There is a matte option in diffuse material. check this box then set your diffuse color to black.
