I came across the following problem :
- in my Blender scene I had a rug
- but for some reason when I exported it to render (I use plugin v1.19) the rug wasn't there in my Octane scene !!!
I found a workaround for this problem (I'll keep the rug example) :
- create a new object (a cube for example)
- select the rug, hold Shift, then select the newly created cube
- press Ctrl+J to join them
- edit this new object (Tab key), and delete the cube
- in Object mode, delete the original rug
=> you get a new rug that will render properly
I'm no expert at all, but my interpretation is that for some reason the original rug has gone "corrupt", so creating a new ("non-corrupted") object fixes this.
I hope this will help anyone who comes across this problem.
