Hi everyone,

we are very pleased that we can finally announce a very highly anticipated project: a fully integrated OctaneRender for Blender plug-in is coming
which will be developed by JimStar, who is also developing and maintaining the excellent OctaneRender for Maya integrated plug-in.

Blender users will be pleased to know that they will soon be able to experience the incredible speed and quality of OctaneRender inside the Blender viewport,
allowing an instantaneous photoreal preview of the scene while editing cameras, lights, materials and objects in the scene.

The video below is the first of a series of work in progress videos showing the state of the plug-in. Please bear in mind that the version you see in this
video is still very unoptimized and that the interactivity will become much faster in the future.

OK so I have to ask. How does this fit in with Blender licensing?

Yes!! , what a great news! my money is ready as soon as it's released. Can't wait to start playing with it, any estimated date for the release? or any pre-order status with the posibility of start messing arround even if it's not fully featured yet?
